We are grateful for the substantial participation of stakeholders during Phase I of the global consultations on the Concept and Issues Paper Strategic Framework on Climate Change and Development for the World Bank Group. From April through July, 2008 over 1,800 individuals representing governments, civil society, academia, youth, indigenous peoples, private sector, and other stakeholders in over 70 countries provided us with their feedback via our global consultations website and through face-to-face and video conference events.
