
Rutu Dave
Rutu Dave is a Climate Change Specialist in the World Bank Institute’s Climate Change Practice. She works with clients in East Asia & the Pacific and in South Asia helping them to access climate and carbon finance. Most recently she has been focusing on carbon and climate finance opportunities and exploring their potential for urban areas.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Ms. Dave worked for the United Nations, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. She has authored several leading publications on climate change as well as on development, trade, and environment.
She has studied at the University of East Anglia-UK, Wageningen University in the Netherlands and Yale University in the United States. She was also a fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
